Maurice L. Sloan, MBA
HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT
Maurice Sloan is a human resources and management consultant with more than 20 years of business experience. Maurice is also a retired US Army Veteran finishing his career as Human Resources Officer. He has an extensive background in planning and managing cross-functional human resources operations and technology projects. He is an analytical and a conceptual thinker who effectively partners with senior managers to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic decisions, and drive successful implementations.
Maurice’s ability to assess complex situations and identify appropriate solutions accentuates his ability to gain meaningful insight and follow-up with thorough analysis. He is particularly skilled at group facilitation and enjoys forming consensus among people with diverging ideas and opinions.
Maurice has managed a broad array of projects in industries ranging from military and government to healthcare and financial management.
Maurice established LIV Strategic Consulting in 2021, along with co-founder Rose Sloan. Prior to forming LIV, he worked as Regional Director, Deputy Director, Chief Human Resources and Assistant Director in Human Resources Operations for various federal agencies. He holds an MBA degree from Saint Leo University and a Certificate in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship) from Georgetown University.

Rose Sloan is a healthcare and management consultant leveraging 18+ years of healthcare experience promoting health and improving the quality of patients through changes in preventative care, social determinants of health, education and patient care across organizations and the community. She is known for innovative, tactical thinking, and an authentic, influential leadership style. Skilled in building the relationships, consensus and strategic partnerships needed to move large-scale and challenging initiatives forward.
Rose has focused experience in Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC), Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), Population Health, Quality Improvement & Compliance, Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) Risk Adjustment Factor (RAF) Care Coordination and Value Base Services.
Rose is an experienced leader equipped with the expertise to convey knowledge to staff and executive leadership. She is highly credible, consistently delivering quality guidance ensuring exceptional patient care and customer satisfaction.
Rose co-founded LIV Strategic Consulting in 2021. Prior to forming LIV, she worked as Geriatric Case Management Consultant, Program Director, Care Coordination Director, and Value Based Services Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Leo University.
